Champagne Charlie in Paris: an extract from the past

It was a last minute decision to travel to France via Paris to the champagne capital of the world – the festive Reims.  Due to the unfortunate mishap of my friends sister breaking up with her boyfriend, there belied an opportunity to sample and appreciate the many types of champagne and visit a vineyard to see if the process could be translated to my garage at home.
